Peter Clenott, author of Hunting the King

Born in Portland, Maine, Peter Clenott began writing his first fiction after graduating from Bowdoin College. A prolific author of novels and screenplays, he is particularly drawn to issues of conflict and spirituality, faith and responsibility. Having lived in South Africa during the time of Apartheid, he has written about insurgency in Africa, upheaval in the Congo, and the relationship between a Jewish father and son in Johannesburg.

Hunting the King is his answer to those who believe that they have exclusive knowledge regarding God and faith. A past member of the Harvard Square Scriptwriters in Boston, Mr. Clenott has also written about revolution in Europe and the last survivors of World War 1.

For the past fifteen years he has worked in social services helping out local survivors of fire, flood, domestic abuse, and lost employment to find new homes. He currently lives in Haverhill, Massachusetts with his wife, Lisa and three wonderful children, Leah, William, and Stephen.
